The Style Network Preps New Pop-Culture Fashion Series

LOS ANGELES, July 30: The
Dish
, a new half-hour series that
a gives a weekly wrap up of beauty, fashion and pop culture, is set to debut on
The Style Network on August 16 at 10 p.m.

Hosted by Danielle Fishel,
who is best known for her role as Topanga on Boy Meets World, the series will look at red-carpet trends, the
latest celebrity gossip and must-see moments from television.

The executive producers
for The Dish are Edward Boyd
and K.P. Anderson, who developed the concept for E! Studios Productions with
the senior VP of development, Jay James; Style’s executive producer, Sarah
Weidman; and Style’s director of development, Merah Chung.

"This show is a first
of its kind for The Style Network and we're thrilled to have Danielle as host,”
said Salaam Coleman Smith, the executive VP for Style. “She combines passion
for the style category with witty humor and playful fun. What's great about The
Dish
is that it takes a
not-so-serious look at the often very serious world of fashion and finds the
comedy in celebrity lifestyle. Viewers can expect a very funny
experience."
