The Original Book The Sherlock Legacy to be Developed for TV

MONTREAL: Bejuba! Entertainment is teaming up with TELETOON Canada to develop a new live-action/CGI tween series based on the original book The Sherlock Legacy.

The series, to be of the same name, is written by Terry Kalagian and writing partner Geoff Skinner. The Sherlock Legacy will feature the young and clever 15-year-old hero Leo Sherlock, who is an heir to a secret order that for thousands of years has prevented villains like Dracula, Grendel and Moriarty from taking over the world. Sherlock, joined by his two best friends, seeks to conquer a monstrous group who have crossed over into their world.

“We are delighted that TELETOON has seen the enormous potential this story has to offer,” said Bejuba! Entertainment’s president, Tatiana  Kober. “These stories will easily translate into exciting and funny entertainment for today’s teen audiences and we look forward to working, together with Terry and Geoff, in bringing Sherlock Jones from the pages to the screen.”

“We are thrilled to be working with Bejuba! Entertainment again,” added Carole Bonneau, the VP of programming at TELETOON Canada.  “The numerous possibilities presented by the classic villains, intricate mysteries and supernatural action in this new series makes The Sherlock Legacy a good candidate for development.”
