The Million Pound Drop Live Returns to Channel 4

LONDON: Remarkable Television, an Endemol company, has been commissioned to produce a fourth run of The Million Pound Drop Live for Channel 4.

The game show, hosted by Davina McCall, watches as contestants are given all the prize money at the start of the show. Over eight questions they must bet the money on the correct responses. Money wagered on incorrect responses will be dropped from the jackpot.

McCall commented, “On this program, you will win big money—you’ll win a minimum of £25,000 if you win, but it’s hard to get there. I quite like that. The drop has turned into this evil machine that is very hard to beat. It’s almost taken on a life of its own!”
