The Africa Channel Expands Reach

LOS ANGELES/ST. GEORGE: The Africa Channelone of the 100 channels profiled in World Screen‘s new U.S. Cable & Satellite Channels guide—has entered into an affiliation agreement with FLOW (Columbus Communication) in Grenada for carriage in the Caribbean.

The Africa Channel is now available to subscribers on FLOW’s economy tier. The network is already available in Jamaica on FLOW and in Barbados. The U.S. based channel features the culture and perspectives of Africa’s people. It airs a mix of first-run English-language programming directly from Africa and original series and special produced exclusively for the channel.

“We are thrilled to offer an unparalleled slate of programming that embodies the rich and beautiful culture of Africa on The Africa Channel for viewers throughout Grenada,” said Bob Reid, the executive VP and general manager of The Africa Channel. “We’re also excited to team up with FLOW in providing such a unique viewing experience to this new market.”
