Televisa to Unveil Three Telenovelas at MIPCOM

MEXICO CITY, September 25: Televisa heads to MIPCOM with
three new telenovelas: Passion (Pasión), Love Without Makeup (Amor sin Maquillaje), and Down with the Beautiful (Al Diablo con los Guapos).

Set in colonial Mexico, the 100×1-hour telenovela Passion (Pasión)
sees Camila’s engagement with Santiago, the handsome blacksmith, interrupted
when she is taken hostage by pirates. Years later, Camila returns to her
hometown as a rich woman, and finds that her heart is torn between the pure
love she still feels for Santiago, now married to her sister; and the burning
passion that Ricardo, the captain of the pirate’s vessel, has awakened in her
soul. It stars Fernando Colunga, Susana Gonzalez and Sebastian Rulli. To
celebrate the 50th anniversary of its novela production efforts,
Televisa will also present the 25×1-hour telenovela Love Without
Makeup
(Amor sin Maquillaje), about three women of different generations working
as makeup artists at a telenovela production company. Rounding out the slate is
the 100×1-hour Down with the Beautiful (Al Diablo con los Guapos),
about an orphan girl whose life drastically changes after she find a job and
moves to the Belmonte Mansion, where she falls in love with Alejandro Belmonte.
