Telefe Takes Pells to MySpace

BUENOS AIRES: Telefe International has launched an online destination for its hit series The Successful Mr. and Mrs. Pells on MySpace.

The Argentine show has sold to more than 20 countries since its Telefe premiere, while the format has been adapted in Chile and is in development in a host of territories, among them Mexico, Poland, Russia, Ecuador, Colombia, the U.S. and Spain.

The online destination, on www.myspace.com/lospellsoficial, will provide fans with details on show, photos and video. "MySpace is proud of this first initiative with Telefe," said Javiera Balmaceda, the manager of MySpaceTV Latinoamérica. "Our role in this mission is to shorten distances between the show and the viewers and to break down virtual and fiction barriers."
