Of all the new shows that bowed across the world in January, Telecinco’s La Isla de las Tentaciones, the Spanish adaptation of Temptation Island, generated the most buzz on Instagram, according to The WIT.

The format sees five couples at a crossroads in their relationships travel to a summer resort, where their fidelity is tested. It garnered 507,000 Instagram followers, with host Monica Naranjo boasting 728,000 followers of her own.

Coming in second with 196,000 Instagram followers is Separadas (Separated), from Canal 13 (El Trece) in Argentina. Netflix’s The Circle, which bowed to 174,000 followers on January 1, is the U.S. adaptation of the reality competition in which contestants chat, make friends, argue and maybe even fall in love while building their own profiles, as well as forming cliques and private allegiances. They must avoid being judged least popular by the rest of “The Circle.” It’s hosted by stand-up comedian Michelle Buteau (120,000 followers).

Also from Netflix is Spinning Out, with 157,000 followers. The drama series follows Kat Baker (Kaya Scodelario, 2.2 million followers), an up-and-coming, high-level single skater who’s about to turn in her skates after a disastrous fall took her off the competition track. It also stars Evan Roderick (307,000 followers).

The Netherlands’ Lang leve de liefde (Let Love Rule), meanwhile, came in fifth on the list, collecting 122,000 followers. The dating show from SBS6 sees single candidates immediately move in together in a luxury apartment. Their first blind date lasts a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of five days. If they complete the whole five days, the fresh couple awaits a surprise: a romantic weekend away. The show has a very active Instagram account that publishes daily updates on the couples.

AJ and the Queen, also from Netflix, has 121,000 followers. The comedy series stars RuPaul (3.9 million followers) as Ruby Red, a bigger-than-life but down-on-her-luck drag queen who travels across America from club to club with her unlikely sidekick AJ, a recently orphaned 11-year-old stowaway.

Hosted by author and personal trainer Bob Harper (344,000 followers) and featuring trainers Steve Cook (2.5 million) and Erica Lugo (606,000), the reboot of the weight-loss reality competition that previously aired on NBC features men and women competing to not only lose weight but to improve their overall well-being.
