Sundance Film Fest Movies Set for Worldwide Sundance Channels

PARK CITY: Sundance Channel Global has picked up five films from the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, with the five indie features set to air across various international territories.

The lineup is scheduled to premiere on Sundance Channel in the spring. Chlorine, repped by Asmara Films; Christmas, Again, distributed by Auke Bay Conifers; and The Strongest Man, from Visit Films, have been acquired for all international territories where Sundance Channel is available. Chorus, licensed from Funfilm Distribution, was secured for Asia, Eastern Europe, Dutch Benelux, Iberia, Latin America and the Middle East and North Africa, while The Amina Profile, a National Film Board of Canada movie, has been acquired for France, French-speaking Benelux and Iberia.

“Sundance Channel Global has experienced landmark growth over the last few years,” said Bruce Tuchman, the president of AMC Global and Sundance Channel Global. “Our international footprint has grown exponentially and we believe this is intrinsically connected to our outstanding lineup of first-window original programming, resulting in increased demand from operators and viewers alike. The Sundance Film Festival is the ultimate purveyor of high-quality top independent films and we are incredibly excited to share these five new exclusive films with worldwide audiences.”
