Sullivan Heads to MIPCOM With New Offerings

TORONTO, October 3: Sullivan Entertainment’s slate for
MIPCOM is highlighted by three new offerings: Anne of Green Gables: A New
Beginning
, the latest installment of its
popular Anne of Green Gables trilogy,
the dark comedy Male Fantasy and
the feature film Mozart’s Magic Flute.

Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning is a prequel movie to Kevin Sullivan’s award-winning
mini-series. It follows the story of Anne’s early life prior to her arrival at
Green Gables. The film was written and directed by Sullivan and is currently in
pre-production. Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning is set for release in early 2008, coinciding with the
100th anniversary of the original book by Lucy Maud Montgomery.

Directed by Blain Thurier, who is best known from his music
group The New Pornographers, Male
Fantasy
follows an odd-ball male character
who is recently divorced and on a mission to become a successful ladies man,
but he must first rise from depression.

The feature film Mozart’s Magic Flute has been completed and is also ready for MIPCOM.
Additionally, Sullivan plans to release Mozart: Decoded, which is a documentary that examines the man behind
the music. It takes an in-depth look at Mozart’s life, from his beginnings as a
musical child, through his rise to stardom, and up to his mysterious death.
