Video Interview: Submarine’s Femke Wolting

Femke Wolting and Bruno Felix co-founded Submarine back in 2000 and have since grown the company to encompass a broad range of products across scripted and unscripted, some of which incorporate hybrid animation and other innovative techniques to stretch their storytelling.

Among Submarine’s varied slate are the crime drama Safe Harbor and the upcoming thriller The Kollective, as well as the animated series Undone and the film Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood.

Wolting, managing director of the company, sits down with World Screen Weekly to share how the company’s goals have evolved over the past 25 years, what types of stories Submarine wants to be involved in, the hybrid animation and innovative techniques it uses and more.
