NEW YORK: Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures from American Greetings Properties (AGP) is headed into its second season of production and has scored a range of deals across the world.

The CGI-animated series, which debuted last fall in the U.S. on The Hub, is now in production for its 13-episode season two. The series follows Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Muffin, Raspberry Torte, Plum Pudding, Orange Blossom and Lemon Meringue as they run small shops and go on fantasy adventures in the land of Berry Bitty City, a tiny world underneath berry-patch leaves.

AGP has secured deals for the new season to air in pan-Asia, Australia and New Zealand on Cartoon Network; Latin America and Spain on Disney; and to be available on home video in Australia and New Zealand through Magna Home Entertainment.

Gia DeLaney, the VP of program sales at American Greetings Properties, said: “We are delighted that broadcasters around the world are having ratings success with the first season of Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures. Our broadcasters are especially excited about the addition of our newest character in the second season.”
