Steve Rotfeld Productions Gets Trio of Kids’ Renewals

BRYN MAWR: The Pennsylvania-based Steve Rotfeld Productions has announced the renewals of three of its weekly children’s series for fall 2010 with the FOX O&O and CBS Television Stations Groups.

Wild About Animals and Awesome Adventures are currently cleared in 85 percent of the U.S., including the FOX O&O Station Group and affiliates in other station groups, including Local TV, Tribune, Raycom Media, Cox and Media General. Season five of Whaddyado has been cleared in 80 percent of the U.S., including CBS Television Stations Group, as well as stations from groups such as FOX, Tribune, Raycom Media, Sinclair, Cox and Barrington.

Wild About Animals is hosted by Marriete Hartley and is entering its 16th season. Awesome Adventures, now in its 13th season, is aimed at kids 13 to 16, taking them on journeys around the world. Whaddyado, premiering in its fifth season, looks at real stories of people in peril and advises them how to respond.

“Since founding Steve Rotfeld Productions 25 years ago, we have taken great pride in being able to create award-winning, successful programming, including the three, FCC-friendly series that children continue to enjoy year in and year out on our partner stations,” said Rotfeld, who serves as executive producer for each series. “With Wild About Animals and Awesome Adventures launching this fall with their strongest station lineups to date, we continue to bring value to television stations looking to meet their E/I requirements with quality programming.”
