Star One and Star Gold Land on U.K.’s BSkyB

MUMBAI,
November 27: STAR has launched Star One and Star Gold on the Sky digital pay TV
service in the U.K., expanding its Indian channel offering on BSkyB from the
current line-up of Star Plus and Star News to a total of four channels.

Star One,
launched in 2004 in India, offers viewers an array of popular Hindi
entertainment programs. Its two signature shows, Nach Baliye and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, rated among India’s top-20 Hindi
programs last year.

Star Gold is
one of India’s most popular Bollywood movie channels. The channel has one of
the largest Indian film libraries in the world.

Star One and
Star Gold are now available on BSkyB’s Entertainment Pack. The channels provide
South Asian programming for viewers in 8.2 million households across the U.K.
and Ireland.

Star Plus and
Star News were launched on Sky in January, 2001.
