NEW YORK: Tim Duffy has been elevated to senior VP of original programming at Spike TV, having served in the VP role since 2005.

Since his appointment as VP of original programming for Spike in April 2005, Duffy has spearheaded the production of several successful programs, including Auction Hunters, Deadliest Warrior, 1000 Ways to Die, DEA, Pros vs. Joes, MANswers, 4th and Long and Jessie James Is a Dead Man. Before Spike, Duffy was the director of development at GSN (Game Show Network) and prior to this was production manager at Dick Clark Productions.

“Duffy’s creative vision for Spike’s originals has truly resonated with our audience and he has been a driving force in delivering hit shows,” said Sharon Levy, the executive VP of original programming at Spike to whom Duffy will continue to report. “As the network’s target audience expands, Duffy’s acumen for creating shows that appeal to a wider audience will be instrumental to our success.”
