Spanish Treatment for SevenOne’s You Deserve It

MUNICH: The Dick de Rijk game show You Deserve It has been ordered for a local version by Spanish free-to-air broadcaster Antena 3, in a deal with SevenOne International.

The game show sees contestants playing on behalf of someone who is deserving of a prize. In Spain, the series will air under the local title Te lo mereces. The format has also been picked up in the U.S. by ABC, in addition to a deal with Sat.1 in Germany and sales in territories such as Italy and the Middle East.

Carmen Ferreiro, the director entertainment at Antena 3, said: "We are very pleased to have purchased the rights of You Deserve It, one of the newest formats of MIPTV, because it fits perfectly in the line of family entertainment of Antena 3."
