Sorority Forever Set for Korean Mobile Debut

BURBANK/SEOUL, December 5:
SK Telecom (SKT) has struck a deal with Warner Bros. International Television
Distribution (WBITD) to launch the original short-form digital series Sorority Forever on its mobile platform
in Korea.

The
series is available to SKT users via the Nate and
June services on their mobile devices. Along with the launch of the series, SKT has started a promotional campaign for Sorority Forever, offering prize
giveaways for each purchase of a Sorority
Forever
episode. Users will be eligible to win prizes such as game
consoles, PSPs and MP3 players.

From McG and the producers
of the hit Internet offering Prom Queen,
Sorority
Forever
is a mystery/drama that
looks inside one of the most intriguing secret societies in the world, the sorority.

"We
believe the Internet series format (short form) is optimal for mobile due to
its short running time," said Lee
Soohyok, the senior VP of SK Telecom. "With the growing number of DMB and digital
contents users, we'll be focusing more on specialized content to expand and
bring quality programming to our service."

"Sorority Forever is the perfect series
for mobile, a short-form digital show that will appeal to viewers interested in
compelling dramatic storytelling that they can engage with quickly and at their
convenience, in a reliable and legal way," added Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, the president of WBITD. "We look forward
to working with SKT to bring this series to mobile users in Korea."
