Solid Sells Raft of Automotive Programming

ENCINO: Solid Entertainment has firmed up two separate deals for a range of automotive lifestyle programming, one with Italy’s Sitcom and the other with Discovery International.

For the Nuvolari channel, Sitcom picked up two seasons of Chasing Classic Cars, four seasons of Hot Rod TV, the first season of KIT: An Autobody Experience, 34 episodes of Four Wheeler TV, 52 episodes of Great Cars and Greatest Auto Races on Earth.

Discovery International (Asia, India and Pacific Rim) went for three seasons of Chasing Classic Cars, three seasons of Hot Rod TV, the first season of KIT and Greatest Auto Races on Earth.

Solid Entertainment’s director of content licensing, Richard Propper, said: “Quality automotive programming is hard to come by, but we’ve found a number of series that capture what every car junkie wants—compelling stories with relatable characters. And yes, desirable automobiles of almost every make and model.”
