SOAPnet Bulks Up Programming

BURBANK, April 1: SOAPnet
has added a new six-week original series to its programming slate, and has
acquired five additional titles from Disney-ABC Domestic Television for SNM, its Sunday night movie franchise.

Madness will premiere May 8 at 11
p.m. Each show will have a family theme that will count down the top 25 most
over-the-top TV and celebrity family moments. The episodes include “Mama
Drama,” “It’s a Sibling Thing,” “Brawl in the Family,” “Crazy…in Love,”
“Twisted Family Tree” and “Father Knows Less.”

To bolster its Sunday
night movies block, SOAPnet has added five new titles from the Disney-ABC
catalogue. Kicking off April 6 at 10 p.m., the movies will debut in the
following order: I Do, They
Don’t, Face on the Milk Carton, Relative Chaos, I Want to Marry Ryan Banks and Romy and Michelle: In the Beginning.
