Slovakian Volume Deal for Tandem

MUNICH/BRATISLAVA,
September 24: Munich-based Tandem Communications and the Slovakian commercial
broadcaster TV JOJ have signed an exclusive multi-year free-TV output deal.

The
agreement covers the complete distribution slate of television movies and
series produced and distributed by Tandem, including the newly-completed movie Lost
City Raiders, the
new event mini-series, Impact, The Nora Roberts Collections that consists of four completed
movies and four more about to start pre-production, as well as the 8-hour
limited series, The Pillars of the Earth, based on the hugely popular bestseller written by
author Ken Follett.

from previous years,” says Erika Tothova, the head of acquisitions at TV JOJ.
“Tandem offers the market high-quality programs that have resonated with TV
viewers in Slovakia over the past several years. We are sure that the new
projects in the coming months and years will be as good, if not better, for our
viewers both on TV JOJ channels as well as on our newly announced JOJ PLUS,
which starts broadcasting in October 2008. We wish Tandem many good projects,
scripts and high-quality productions that will satisfy buyers and their viewers
of course.”
