Animation Collective, Fatkat Studios Team for New Series

NEW YORK, August 6: New York-based Animation Collective and
Canada’s Fatkat Studios are working together on a new 26×30-minute animated
series, Three Delivery, set in Chinatown
and slated to air on Nicktoons Network, YTV and the BBC.

The series was created by Larry Schwarz, the founder and CEO
of Animation Collective, and features a group of teenage super heroes, skilled
in kung fu, who deliver Chinese food by day and fight evil by night. Set in
Chinatown, it is animated in a graphic comic book style, using extreme
close-ups and dramatic angles.

Animation Collective is handling worldwide TV and consumer
products sales. Broadcast rights have been secured by Nicktoons in the U.S.,
YTV in Canada and the BBC in the U.K. The show will launch in the U.S. and U.K.
in early 2008, followed by the Canadian rollout in September 2009.

As part of a multiplatform initiative, Animation Collective
is also producing 11, two-minute mobisodes for cell phones and a complete
online world for the series, including a multiplayer game.

"Three Delivery
is our first take on the superhero genre, but like all of our series, it is
driven by great characters and compelling, kid-relatable stories,” said
Schwarz. “The show is a fantasy, but the characters are written as real kids
who viewers will want to emulate. We also incorporated tween trends, including
extreme bike riding, punk and EMO.”
