Slew of Guest Stars Lined Up for New Torchwood Installment

NEW YORK: A number of guest stars are in place for the upcoming Starz original drama Torchwood: Miracle Day, with the likes of Wayne Night, C. Thomas Howell and Ernie Hudson set to join cast members such as John Barrowman and Bill Pullman.

Produced by BBC Worldwide Productions for Starz, BBC Cymru Wales and BBC Worldwide, the series is slated for its U.S. launch on the premium network on July 8 at 10 p.m. Torchwood: Miracle Day features cast regulars Barrowman, Eve Myles and Kai Owen alongside the new headliners Mekhi Phifer, Pullman and Alexa Havins. The 10×1-hour series will also feature a roster of guest stars that includes Wayne Knight (Seinfeld, Jurassic Park), C. Thomas Howell (Southland, The Outsiders), Ernie Hudson (OZ, Ghostbusters), Nana Visitor (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), John DeLancie (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Mare Winningham (Mildred Pierce, George Wallace) and Frances Fisher (Titanic, The Lincoln Lawyer). Arlene Tur (Crash, Eat Pray Love) and Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under, The Other Woman) join the cast in extended guest roles.
