Sky Chief Set for MIPTV Keynote

LONDON: Jeremy Darroch, BSkyB’s chief executive, has been lined up to deliver a keynote address at MIPTV, in which he will discuss the growth of the leading British pay-TV platform.

Taking place April 14, Darroch’s keynote will touch on his plans for Sky and the importance of content and innovation in a fast-changing and competitive marketplace. “The combination of Jeremy Darroch’s experience and the pivotal role of Sky in the evolving entertainment industry will certainly make for an absorbing keynote address which we are thrilled to host at MIPTV,” said Laurine Garaude, the director of Reed MIDEM’s television division.

Darroch has been at the helm of Sky since 2007, previously serving as CFO of the platform.
