Simon Cowell Named MIPCOM 2014 Personality of the Year

PARIS: Media mogul Simon Cowell is being honored as the Personality of the Year at MIPCOM, where he will give a keynote interview in the Grand Auditorium on Monday, October 13.

Cowell's media enterprise spans film, TV and music. He is the founder of Syco Entertainment, which holds TV assets that include Got Talent and The X Factor and a music roster that boasts stars such as One Direction and Il Divo.

At MIPCOM, Cowell will receive his award as Personality of the Year at a gala dinner at the Carlton on Tuesday, October 14. The day prior, he will take part in a keynote interview.
