Second Season for Wizards of Waverly Place

BURBANK, August 29: Disney
Channel has placed an order for a second season of the hit comedy Wizards of
Waverly Place
, which year-to-date
across all of cable is the number one program among kids 6 to 11 and tweens.

(Hannah Montana) and executive
produced by Peter Murrieta (Greetings from Tucson, Hope & Faith), Greenwald, Vince Cheung and Ben Montanio, the
series stars Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, Maria
Canals-Barrera and David DeLuise. The comedy is seen around the world on 27
Disney Channel and begins rolling out on terrestrial broadcasters in September.
