Second Season for Project Runway Philippines

LONDON: FremantleMedia has announced the return of Project Runway Philippines, to launch in its second season in August on ETC Entertainment Central.

American-Filipino model and actress Teresa Herrera returns as host for the new season, alongside the judging panel: Filipino model Apples Aberin-Sahdwani, fashion designer Rajo Laurel and a host of celebrity guest judges. Jojie Lloren also reprises his role as the mentor. The Project Runway format gives aspiring fashion designers the opportunity to have their designs shown in front of the fashion community. A series of challenges will determine who stays and who goes throughout the competition.

"Project Runway Philippines is a fabulous example of the format and one of which we are very proud," said Sheldon Bailey, the executive producer of FremantleMedia Worldwide Production. "It showcases the best of Filipino fashion talent and provides marvellous opportunities for the designers. The struggles and emotion depicted in the series; the pain, the joy, the amazing creativity and determination, show the best of the Filipino character and what is possible to those who have the talent, the ambition and the will to work hard."
