Scripps Networks Names GM for International Business

CINCINNATI: The day-to-day operations of Scripps Networks International will now be managed by Bob Baskerville as general manager of the division, reporting to Greg Moyer.

Baskerville was formerly president of Scripps Emerging Networks, leading business strategy, content development and operations of DIY Network and Fine Living Network. He also previously served as the president of DIY Network. He will be based primarily in Scripps’ New York City offices.

“Bob brings a high level of expertise in many important aspects of our business from program production and scheduling to marketing and brand development,” said Moyer, the president of Scripps Networks International. “As a Scripps Networks veteran, Bob has gained the respect and reputation that will be invaluable as we expand the Scripps Networks footprint around the world.”

Scripps Networks’ global business currently includes Food Network in the U.K. and across EMEA; and Fine Living Network in EMEA and in South Africa. “With four channel feeds on the air and another about to launch, Scripps Networks International is deeply immersed in channel operations around the world,” Moyer said. “Bob will ensure that critical path functions take place in a smooth and predictable manner.”
