SCI FI Set for Japan Rollout

TOKYO, March 25: As part
of a deal with NBC Universal International, the Japanese MSO giant Jupiter
Telecommunications is set to begin carrying SCI FI Channel on its J:COM Digital
Broadcasting service, effective April 1.

Set to air on the Japanese
feed of SCI FI are all nine seasons of The X-Files, as well as the theatrical feature, in Japanese
and English. The SCI FI U.S. original Eureka will make its Japanese debut exclusively on the
channel. SCI FI Japan will also broadcast season one of Jericho. The channel is also expected to roll out original
content developed for Japanese audiences.
