Russian Treatments for Pair of Telefe Series

BUENOS AIRES: The Russian version of Telefe International’s Final Minute has launched on REN TV, while The Successful Mr. and Mrs. Pells will be released with its local treatment in the country on CTC on January 31.

The original version of Final Minute has been sold to more than 70 countries. In addition to Russia, the format has been adapted in Georgia and is now under development for Paraguay. The format has also been adapted for the Latin cable signal Fox, where three seasons have already been broadcast. The Russian version launched on January 16 on REN TV.

The Russian adaptation of the hit romantic comedy The Successful Mr. and Mrs. Pells is produced by CTC and Kostafilm under the local title Novosti, which means news in Russian. The original version has been sold in more than 20 countries, while its format has been adapted in Chile, Mexico, Spain, Peru, Turkey, Greece and Ecuador and is under development in Poland, the U.S. and China. CTC will air the series as of January 31, Monday through Friday at 8:30 p.m.
