RTP Portugal Scoops Up TV Movies

LISBON: Portuguese broadcaster RTP has picked up the rights to seven tween-targeted TV movies produced by Dolphin Entertainment, including Nickelodeon’s Shredderman Rules.

The movies were acquired from Elastic Rights, which manages the rights for the Dolphin films in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Turkey. RTP will air the slate this year. The deal covers Nick’s first TV movie, Shredderman Rules, plus The Last Day of Summer, Gym Teacher, the Movie and four movies in the Roxy Hunter franchise: Roxy Hunter and the Mystery of the Moody Ghost, Roxy Hunter and the Secret of the Shaman, Roxy Hunter and the Myth of the Mermaid and Roxy Hunter and the Horrific Halloween.

Elastic Rights is in talks in other territories for the Dolphin titles.
