LUXEMBOURG, November 6: In the midst of a number of media
companies reporting weaker results, the RTL Group's financials for the first
nine months show it holding steady, with revenues of 4.05 billion euros and an
improved operating profit of 577 million euros.

The company's broadcast operations in Germany and FremantleMedia
were the drivers of the period's solid performance, compensating for the ad
downturn, costs associated with EURO 08 for M6 and restructuring charges at RTL
Nederland.

"Despite the current economic climate and continued low
visibility on the advertising markets, RTL Group remains cautiously optimistic
about achieving its financial targets in 2008," the company said.
