LOS ANGELES: Rive Gauche Television is presenting a slate of Spanish-dubbed non-scripted series and new formats for Latin American buyers at the L.A. Screenings, including The Dog Whisperer, Scare Tactics and three sports-themed reality shows.

The 147×1-hour The Dog Whisperer follows dog behavior specialist Cesar Millan into the homes of troubled canines as he rehabilitates the pets.

Scare Tactics is a half-hour hidden-camera series, in which friends and family stage scary situations for an unassuming "victim" by using movie-style special effects and make up.

Meanwhile, the 104×30-minute Whacked Out Sports features sports bloopers from around the world.

Sports Crash is a 33×1-hour series that highlights the most dangerous moments in sports crash history and explores what went wrong and why.

Rounding out the sports reality shows, Sports Disasters includes 16×1-hour episodes about the dangerous side of sports competition and its impact on participants and society in general.

Rive Gauche is also showcasing three formats, including Cyber Smarts, which is a comedy-game format; Style Diva, a fashion game show format designed to test contestants’ taste and sense of style; and Hunch, a new studio-based game format where two contestants are asked simple questions with answers not based on facts but on feelings.

Tomas Silva, the international sales executive for Rive Gauche, said: “Rive Gauche is actively engaged across Latin America, delivering quality, high-appeal programming in genres that are proven to attract audiences throughout this vital marketplace."

Jon Kramer, Rive Gauche’s chairman and CEO, added: “Our expansive slate of original unscripted series and specials dubbed into Spanish, combined with three high-profile format opportunities that are ideal for the market, make Rive Gauche a powerful programming partner for the Latin American market."
