re:think Announces Forgiveness Deals

CANNES, October 15: The one-hour documentary special Forgiveness:
Stories of Our Time
, which picked up an
award at Hot Docs, has been licensed into Spain and Finland by re:think
Entertainment.

The film, produced by Johanna Lund and Wild East Productions
of Nova Scotia, has been acquired by Odisea in Spain and YLE TV1 in Finland.
Through interviews and archival footage, the film looks at four people as they
cope with the murder of loved ones. Among those featured are the husband of a
young woman killed in an IRA bombing, and a vicar who lost his daughter in the
London Underground bombings in 2004.

The new deals follow the Sky pickup earlier this year for
the Real Lives HD channel, where it aired as Murder: Moving On. At MIPCOM, re:think is offering up the European
rights outside of the U.K., Finland and Spain. North American and Asian rights
are handled by the National Film Board (NFB) of Canada.
