Record Plans $170 Million Investment for 2009

SÃO PAULO, November 19: The broadcaster Record TV Network has announced a $170 million investment in initiatives to increase its audience share.

Of this amount, $100 million will be allocated to RecNov, the company’s new production facility in Rio de Janeiro. Record will also invest $13 million in a digital exhibition center in São Paulo.

In addition, the company will shell out some $25 million for reality shows and $20 million for movies. Its program investments include the recent feature film Tropa de elite and the U.S. series Lipstick Jungle.
