Presales for Little Airplane Interstitials

NEW YORK: Little Airplane Productions has presold Tobi!, its new series of four-minute interstitials, to Treehouse TV in Canada and Nickelodeon in Australia.

Tobi! centers on a little boy who wants to make his world a better place to live in. Each episode helps preschoolers understand one pressing global issue, such as human rights, discrimination or homelessness. The educational curriculum for this series was developed by Dr. Laura G. Brown (The Wonder Pets!, Ni Hao, Kai Lan) to insure that these delicate issues were being handled appropriately for the age group.

The show is created by Josh Selig and Jim Chong, an entrepreneur and father of four who approached Little Airplane with the challenge of making a preschool series that would help prepare the next generation for the social, ethical and environmental challenges ahead.

"Our goal is to make a series that is not only entertaining but takes on the tougher global issues that preschool television historically shies away from," said Selig. "It is a credit to our broadcast partners that they are willing to support our newest and most controversial series."
