Power Preps MIPCOM Slate

LONDON, September 22: Power
will head to MIPCOM with a slate that includes the action-drama series Crusoe in addition to a diverse mix of mini-series and TV
movies.

This 13-part Crusoe is currently filming on location in South Africa
and is set to premiere on NBC on next month.

Mini-series from Power
include The Diplomat, a
fast-paced political thriller; The Devil’s Mistress, a drama starring John Simm (Life on Mars) and Dominic West (The Wire); and The Day of the Triffids, an apocalyptic sci-fi thriller with a contemporary
take on John Wyndham's international bestseller.

Power’s founder and chief
executive, Justin Bodle, said: “This is a hugely exciting MIPCOM for us. Not only is our
action-adventure 13-part series Crusoe premiering on NBC on October 17, but we also have a fantastic huge
new slate of titles including The Day of the Triffids, The Diplomat and The Devil’s Mistress.”

Power builds on its
success of original suspense driven psychological thrillers with Final
Verdict
, which chronicles one
woman’s fight for justice. Additionally, continuing its long-standing output
deal with RHI Entertainment, Power presents The Last Templar, a thriller starring Oscar-winning actress Mira
Sorvino and based on Raymond Khoury’s bestseller.
