PorchLight Offers Up Katakune on DVD in the U.S.

LOS ANGELES, July 10: PorchLight Home Entertainment (PHE)
has acquired the U.S. DVD distribution rights to the high-definition preschool
series Katakune from Princ Films.

Katakune is a silkworm living in the colorful world of
Tazzleland where he meets new friends, becomes aware of his environment and
learns about friendship, responsibility, safety and kindness. The series
launched in the U.S. on Animania last fall targeting kids 2 to 5. Katakune is produced by Singaporean outfit Mediafreaks, with
rights held by its sister company, Character Farm. The DVD can be preordered
starting September 10 and will be available in stores October 14.
