PorchLight Developing New Flash Animated Series

LOS ANGELES: PorchLight Entertainment is developing the comedy spy series Agent A to Agent Z, created by Andy Rash and Dan Yaccarino and based on Rash’s children’s book of the same name.

 
The series will be produced in Flash animation and targets kids 6 to 11. Initial production will include 52 11-minute episodes. Agent A to Agent Z follows the misadventures of a father-son spy duo.
 
Yaccarino’s work includes creating such hits as Oswald and Willa’s Wild Life, character design for The Backyardigan and writing numerous children’s books, which have sold more than 1.5 million copies. Rash’s other work includes Superhero School, Are You A Horse? and The Robots are Coming.
 
"Agent A to Agent Z is the kind of show I would’ve loved to have watched as a 12-year-old; Aw, heck. I’d love to watch it now!" said Yaccarino, series co-creator. 
 
"I knew sooner or later I would put my grappling-hook knowledge to good use!" added Rash, author of Agent A to Agent Z and series co-creator.
