Peace Arch Shores Up Global Deals at AFM

TORONTO, November 7: At the AFM, Peace Arch Entertainment
Group has inked theatrical distribution deals for three feature films, as well
as a raft of international broadcast and DVD agreements.

Peace Arch has closed broadcast and DVD agreements on a
total of 18 films and one mini-series.

Films picked up for theatrical release include Winged
Creatures, which was acquired by Germany’s Constantin Film. The dark
comedy The Babysitters was sold
to Audio Visual Enterprises S.A. for Greece/Cyprus, Front Row Filmed
Entertainment for the Middle East and Portugal’s Lusomundo. Meanwhile, Peace
Arch’s sports film Goal 3 was
secured by Front Row Filmed Entertainment for distribution in the Middle East
and by Lusomundo for rollout in Portugal.

Portugal’s Lusomondo also picked up the broadcast and DVD
rights to a package of five films—All The Good Ones Are Married,
Grindstone Road, The Four
Horsemen, The Lobster Tale, The Last Hit Man—and the mini-series Guns.

HBO Latin America bagged the pay-TV rights for three of
Peace Arch’s feature films: Chapter 27,
Delirious and Guantanamero.

Peace Arch completed another package of distribution
agreements with Inter Medya Hizmetleri Ticaret (ITV), which included the broadcast
and DVD rights to the mini-series Guns,
along with the TV rights for 13 films: Animal 2, Final Draft,
American Soldiers, The Veteran, The Four Horsemen, Grindstone Road,
Heartstopper, The Last Sect, The Mad, The Last Hit Man, Time Bomb, UKM: The Ultimate
Killing Machine and Warriors of
Terra.
