Partners In Motion, The CONUS Archive Ink Footage Deal

REGINA/ST. PAUL, March 4:
Canada’s Partners In Motion, along with its distribution unit Harmony
Entertainment, has been tapped as the Canadian representative for The CONUS
Archive, a U.S.-based archival video company.

This
new deal provides producers and other licensees throughout Canada access to The
CONUS Archive, which totals more than 15,000 hours of archival video. The
company’s general collection includes videos on almost any personality, event
or location in the U.S. over the past two decades. CONUS also represents more
than two dozen other collections, including “Caught on Tape Police” and
surveillance footage, “Weird and Wacky” footage from around the world,
celebrities, extreme weather and extreme sports.

The
deal complements an existing relationship between the two companies in which
The CONUS Archive is offering a variety of footage from Partners in Motion,
including crime-themed recreation footage, with new footage being added on a
regular basis.

“Not
only do we get to work with such a respected company as The CONUS Archive, but
this is the kind of agreement that will help Canadian Producers access CONUS’
array of video footage,” said Ron Goetz, the executive producer and CEO of
Partners In Motion.

Chris
Bridson, the senior account executive for The CONUS Archive, added, “We are
excited to be able to work even more closely with our many Canadian clients,
and giving them a greater opportunity to take advantage of our outstanding
collections of footage. We are particularly happy to be able to do so while at
the same time expanding our already strong working relationship with Partners
in Motion.”
