OWN Unveils Upcoming Highlights

NEW YORK: OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network has revealed plans for 60 hours of new television for its upcoming season, with four renewed shows and six new originals, including one from Kinetic Content with Louie Spence of Sky1’s Pineapple Dance Studios.

"After four months on the air it’s great to be able to renew series that connected with our audience," said Christina Norman, CEO of OWN. "Our new shows will continue to bring viewers more compelling characters sharing their real life journeys that entertain, engage and inspire."

The returning slate includes Our America with Lisa Ling, Ask Oprah’s All Stars, Enough Already! with Peter Walsh, In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman and Oprah Presents Master Class.

On the slate of new originals is Confronting, from Relativity Real, about mediation processes between victims and offenders. From Skip Film comes I Owe You My Life, about everyday people who took risky actions to protect others and right wrongs. Kinetic Content is producing the Louie Spence Dance Project, bringing the flamboyant Briton to New York. Rounding out the slate of new originals are My Mom and Me, Sweetie Pies and Unfaithful: Stories of Betrayal.
