LOS ANGELES: Sons of Perdition, Serving Life and Life 2.0, featured as part of the OWN Documentary Club, are to premiere in June, July and August, respectively.

Sons of Perdition launches on June 2 at 9 p.m. The doc takes viewers inside the lives of three teenage boys after they escape from the Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints compound, the oldest polygamist community in the U.S. Serving Life, debuting July 28 at 9 p.m., is the first OWN original documentary to air on the network. The film is narrated and executive produced by Forest Whitaker. Serving Life peers inside Louisiana’s maximum security prison at Angola, where the average sentence exceeds 90 years. Life 2.0, which follows in August, follows a group of people whose lives are transformed by the virtual world Second Life. They take on new personas in the form of digital alter egos.

The OWN Documentary Club launches next week, on May 10, with Becoming Chaz.
