ORF Scores Sale for Four Women and a Funeral

VIENNA, March 17: Arte France has picked up the crime-comedy
series Four Women and a Funeral from
Austria’s ORF.

ORF has already licensed the series to Bosnia, Bulgaria,
Ukraine, Russia, Slovenia and Switzerland.

Four Women and a Funeral is a comedic crime series that centers on four women who investigate
unnatural deaths in a highly unconventional way.

“The series is full of humor and weirdness—Miss
Marple meets Six Feet Under,” said Beatrice Riesenfelder, the head of sales and
acquisitions at ORF. “It’s an outstanding, different, down-to-earth crime
series among the glossy CSI-like
shows.”
