ORF Rolls Out Interview with Kidnapping Victim

VIENNA, September 11: ORF has announced a slew of licensing
deals on the first interview conducted with Natascha Kampusch, who was held captive for eight years before finally
managing to break free at the end of August.

Abducted
when she was 10 by Wolfgang Priklopil, Kampusch, now 18, was held prisoner for
a decade. Priklopil committed suicide shortly after Kampusch’s escape.

All
revenues derived from the interview, conducted by ORF reporter Christoph
Feurstein and broadcast last week, will be donated to the Natascha Kampusch
Foundation.

Among the
broadcasters on board for the full interview are TF1, RTL Germany, Antena 3, La
Sette, TV2 Denmark, TV4 Sweden and SBS in Norway, among others.
