ONO, TiVo Partner in Spain

MADRID/ALVISO: TiVo’s international expansion continues with a partnership with Spanish cable operator ONO to deliver advanced television services.

The agreement makes Spain’s largest cable operator the exclusive distributor of TiVo’s services in Spain, with TiVo as the exclusive software provider for all next generation set top boxes deployed by ONO, including DVR and non-DVR set top boxes. ONO and TiVo also expect to collaborate on solutions that make the TiVo experience available to consumers beyond ONO’s cable footprint in conjunction with terrestrial and IPTV platforms.
