Novavision Scores Deals in Brazil and India for Hidden Camera Gags

PARIS, April 6: Novavision has licensed the cable,
terrestrial broadcast, Internet and mobile rights for ZeZe Candid Camera, a series of hidden-camera clips, to UTV in India, and
25×26-minute episodes of Pop Corn TV, compilations of gags from the ZeZe series, to the terrestrial channel SBT in Brazil.

Aeromexico has also signed up to show clips on its airlines,
and TMC Télé Monte Carlo has acquired 250 clips. Elsewhere, Novavision has sold
packages to Switzerland’s TSR, Moroccan network 2M, Teleamazonas in Ecuador and
to Spanish channels ETB and Television de Galicia. Novavision has also struck
up a deal with Sabbah Pictures for distribution of Pop Corn TV and ZeZe Candid Camera in the Middle East.

Novavision is launching a fourth season of 105 new hidden
camera clips at MIPTV this month, and will now be offering international buyers
a total of 250 gags. Novavision expects to finalize numerous deals at the market.

Each hidden camera gag in the Zeze Candid Camera series is 1 to 3 minutes long, and in each one,
several dozen people are set up. The clips are available individually or
packaged as Pop Corn TV. The
slapstick comedy is served up without presenter or audience, and is enhanced
with animation by award-winning U.K.-based animator Bruce Dunlop and
Associates.

“I’m delighted that Novavision’s hidden camera gags and
their good humor are visible across continents,” said François-Xavier Poirier,
the founder and president of Novavision. “Even Internet users worldwide
can watch them since December on Google Video, while Vodafone offers our clips
to all subscribers in the U.K. and Australia.”
