Nigel Lythgoe to Keynote New Formats Event

BEIJING/LOS ANGELES: Nigel Lythgoe, co-creator and executive producer of So You Think You Can Dance, will deliver the keynote address at the first-ever International Formats Forum (IFF) in Beijing from November 11 to 12.

Lythgoe, who is coming back to American Idol this year as executive producer, will also receive the first IFFY Award Grand prize for excellence in worldwide formats. “It is a great honor for me to be directly involved in the raising of the formats Industry in China," said Lythgoe. “I believe American Idol can not only set a good example of success in formats audiences but also inspire the young Chinese creators to reach for the highest standards in creating new formats in the years to come thanks to IFF China.”
