Nickelodeon Latin America Unveils New Image

MIAMI, August 16:
Nickelodeon Latin America has debuted a new on-air look, including more than 60
vignettes per feed (North, South and Brazil), an animated Nickelodeon logo and
a new mascot called Cubito.

The vignettes feature kids
from Argentina, Mexico and Brazil, talking about a range of things, from sports
to what they would do if they were president. They also participate in
improvised skits using props and costumes. In addition, Nick’s familiar orange
logo is now animated, transforming itself visually onscreen while remaining in
constant motion. And Cubito, the channel’s mascot, tells viewers what’s coming
on next.

"We are very excited
about our new image campaign and we had a great time working with kids in
Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, as well as with some of best creative
professionals in the region," said Jimmy Leroy, the on-air creative
director for Nickelodeon Latin America. "Nick continuously strives to
visually provide its audience with innovative and creative concepts, and in
this campaign we show ‘real’ kids showcasing their humor and originality on
screen, unscripted and unrehearsed.”

Leroy conceptualized the
channel’s new image and realized it with his in-house creative team and partners
in the region, including Totuma from Venezuela, Piloto Cine TV from Brazil, and
Claudio Bono and Nora Mosenco from Argentina.
