Nick Asia Joins Leading Thai Platform

BANGKOK/SINGAPORE, June 9: Nickelodeon Asia has reached a carriage deal with leading Thai pay-TV platform TrueVisions, which reaches 1.5 million subscribers.

Available on the Silver and Platinum tiers, the 24-hour channel will feature top-rated Nick brands such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Legend of Aang, Dora the Explorer and iCarly, as well as the upcoming The Penguins of Madagascar. Nickelodeon is seen in more than 242 million households throughout the Asia Pacific region, with seven 24-hour programming services including Nickelodeon Asia, Nickelodeon Japan, Nickelodeon India, Nickelodeon Pakistan, Nickelodeon Korea, Nickelodeon Australia and Nickelodeon New Zealand, as well as branded blocks and syndication deals. Nickelodeon Asia reaches 13 countries, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and The Philippines.
