NGCI Inks Co-Pro Deal for More Mega Factories

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) is co-producing the second season of Mega Factories with Hoff Productions, and will debut the six-part series internationally on National Geographic Channel this month.

Mega Factories follows the manufacturing transformations that take place with use of skilled technicians, cutting-edge robotic technology and craftsmen. The show will begin rolling out in its second season on National Geographic Channels throughout March.

"Showcasing the best in machinery and manpower, Mega Factories appeals to our audience intrigued by their revolutionary engineering that bring the fastest and most luxurious automobiles to life," said Sydney Suissa, the executive VP of content for NGCI.

Michael Hoff, the president of Hoff Productions, added, “Our film crews worked relentlessly to capture the stories behind these ‘Mega Factories.’ And each factory amazed and surprised us. No two were ever alike. With our unprecedented access we were able to reveal the design and manufacturing secrets that go into creating some of the most famous brand names in the world. And that’s what made creating this series so exciting. Each factory is a direct reflection of the product it is making from handcrafted detail to mass volume driven by the most advance technology in the world.”
