New EVP of Strategy & Business Insights in Place at NBCUniversal

NEW YORK: NBCUniversal has appointed Jason Zajac, formerly of Boston Consulting Group, as the executive VP of strategy and business insights.

In his new role, Zajac will exercise primary responsibility for developing the company’s long-term strategy, including the evaluation and execution of growth investments across the global enterprise. He will also oversee the NBCUniversal corporate research group, providing consumer and business insights across the portfolio and creating new capabilities to support the company’s needs. He will be based in New York City and report to Anand Kini, NBCUniversal’s CFO.

Zajac joins NBCUniversal from the Boston Consulting Group, where he was a San Francisco-based partner and managing director in the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) practice. Zajac has previously held senior management roles at technology companies in Silicon Valley, including Palm, Yahoo! and Hewlett-Packard.
